The long-term goal of The Food Purveyor is to have more Artisan made Produce on the tables of more Australian Homes. Well in 2018 we believe we have really started to see that dream become a reality.
The business has continued to grow and now our Hampers are travelling all over the country from Bell Bay Tasmania to Nhulunbuy NT.
At each stage of growth, it has been difficult increasing the volume whilst taking into account the impact (positive and negative) this can have on our suppliers. These suppliers can be big but still make everything by hand and some are small. We need to make sure that at each stage of growth we take into account their capabilities both from a production and supply point of view.
That is why we have been able to stay true to our brand of Hand Made Artisan Hampers and have not lost sight of what we want to achieve. The importance of continuing to work with like-minded brands/suppliers to deliver exquisite hampers ensures that the purchaser can remain confident that we deliver what we promise and that the receiver is blown away by the quality of the inclusions. We stay with what we know works, delivers well, is consistent in quality and manufacture and will be loved once received.
The impact of your purchase on the Makers and Growers who we purchase from is each and everytime a grateful one. Never underestimate the understanding of purchasing from Small Businesses that support other Small Businesses especially if they are located in Rural Locations. Every dollar spent impacts their business, their local communities and the longevity of their business.
